Insta-Story rants

Being introspective has been a major part of my healing from all the drama of 2014 and prior. I spend alot of time analyzing my actions and thoughts and figuring out if they are in fact healthy. If you follow me on insta-stories, you know that for about a month or so, I had 3-4 rants about various issues.

I am tired of insta-rants about other people’s choices and issues.

I have spent way too much worrying about whether people bought their followers. Worrying why brands arent knocking at my door. Worrying about why certain bloggers now are being so transparent and authentic. All this worrying pulled me away from what was the most imperative- Focusing.

Focusing on my goals. Focusing on creating dope content. Focusing on pitching. Focus on spreading positive vibes and light. Focusing on the only thing I can control- my brand and how I get it out to the world.

I am a pisces. We are sensitive as all heck. I spend alot of time creating content, shooting, answering everyone’s questions, and giving alot of myself and not getting a ton back. This made me stop and think about myself. What did I want? What are my goals? and frankly I want to continue my blog, youtube channel and instagram while making money. So I gave myself 3 months starting September 13th to get’r done.

So for 3 months I go hard.

If I do not see some kind of positive change like campaigns paid or not, I will have to quit the blog. Not because I do not love it or because I think everything needs to be paid but because it is alot of energy and time and I could be working a part time job instead.

It comes down to this.

Alot of my money is coming out and not enough is coming in.

And…. I have to be responsible. I mean- I have to adult. Adult hard. And we all know Adulting is already hard.

Because contrary to popular belief…. blogging aint easy. At least its not easy when you do your best to deliver HIGH-QUALITY content. So let’s build a community together. Let’s collaborate rather than compare ourselves. Community over Complaining!

So glad you’re refocusing on the best part of Comme Coco… your creative light!!!
Love that stolen moment in the 2nd Coca-Cola picture (looking down)… that’s the girl drawing pink stencil designs and knowing she was made for greatness.

I’m so proud of you Jen! None of us are prefect, but it’s great to see that we can fix and change some of the things that are toxic to ourselves. It’s a great feeling when you aren’t concerning yourself with what others are doing! I adopted this same process I would say, about a year maybe two years ago. Less stress, more positive vibes! There’s enough space for everyone to win.
