Happy Birthday Jenni!!!!!!!!

I wanted to do a little something special for Jenni's birthday, so I hacked her Blogger account and made a post myself! I decided yesterday that I was going to make a little video for Jenni, reason being is that I am not a big fan of presents or material items. Sometimes it is the smallest acts that mean a lot. Jenni knows that I hate video, I refuse to be on video, I don't like taking video, I am just not a video type of guy. So I decided to push myself a little and create something that is just slightly beyond my normal scope (bear with me). 

Most of you reading this probably do not have a photographer that works directly for you, so it may be hard for you to understand the bond between myself and Jenni. I work solely for Jenni, on occasion when we have no shoot planned I still go out and do some light painting or other misc photography, but at the end of the day my photography is focused on Jenni and Comme Coco. This is not because secretly Jenni is a multi millionaire and pays me a lot of money..... Its because I enjoy what I am doing, and there is no dollar figure that can replace that happiness. From the first time that Jenni and I talked we seemed to have the same vision for her photography, it was not until much later that I found out that she had 60 different photographers contact her wanting to work for her!!! I was the lucky one, not sure what I did or said that caused it, and I am not going to question it.    

Jenni is not just my boss, social networking mentor (I never wanted anything to do with social networking, and now here I am, sadly, with a website, twitter, facebook etc), she is not just a model that I photograph through my view finder.... Jenni has become a dear friend. Since day one she made me feel like family, she also has an awesome boyfriend that is very supportive (now that I think about it, I am not sure if his support is focused towards her passion, or the fact that she hired me and he no longer has to take pictures!). As Jenni knows I am some what of a drifter, I am always out an about on my own, cant stand to sit and watch TV, never did many social gatherings etc, so meeting Jenni was a really great change of pace for me. 

Well time for me to get off my soap box here lol, please bear with the video this is really not my best skill set. I look forward to hopefully one day meeting those of you that are reading this.
