Simple Comme Bonjour- Black Skinnies

Hey all-
First and foremost BEFORE I get on my rant about these shoes, I want to give THANKS to my friend and graphic designer EXTRAORDINAIRE for my amazing new logo. I absolutely adore it and I encourage ANYONE looking for a new header to please reach out to Alexia. She is affordable and has a SUPER quick turn around time. Oh and did I mention she used to do ads for InStyle and Elle to name a few... yeah, well SHE DID!!! Contact me for her info and if you reach out, dont forget to mention that I referred you. Trust me, you will NOT regret it!!!!
now on to my problem of the day.....
Fashion is everything. I seriously love it. What I dont love is when fashion is not comfortable aka these Chinese Laundry Shoes that I have on. It has nothing to do with heel height or the shoes themselves but the fact that my feet are GINORMOUS right now. Im having a major Hitch moment in my extremities and I have no clue what the culprit is... does the heat do this? Am I retaining water? Why oh why did my shoes fit perfectly fine at 7am this morning but by 1pm when these pics were taken I had to SQUEEZE my tootsies into these fab shoes of mine? I was in serious pain with these on and I cant believe I made it thru this mini photo shoot!!! Ok enough about my Fred Flintsone problem and on to the outfit. I woke up late this morning... like "oh crud I have 17 minutes exactly to make it to my bus" late. So when this happens I reach for my go-tos. These skinnies and my Target Pocket Tees are always a lifesaver! Seriously you have to invest 8 bucks on these t-shirts, they really are worth it and can be worn a million ways. You can rock them with pencil skirts like I did in my Tropical Print post, wear them with skinnies like above, denim cutoffs or even a maxi skirt. They are the absolute best and you will see a ton of me in it (kind of like my denim vest that I wear at LEAST once a week if not more)!

p.s. I had a really funny and witty write up and I hit publish but well it didnt publish. Clearly Blogger was having a problem and I had to redo it ALL over again. Every single time this platform messes up, I realize I should have gone to Wordpress! So frustrated right now!

so funny story - this happened to me this morning (cept it was really my boyfriend's fault for waking up before me, noticed my alarm didn't go off, decided to wake me 15 mins before i had to BOLT). I love this! Casual and stylish!! and don't get my started on those shoes <333  but I'd love to reach out to your designer Alexia!! Since I just started my blog, I'm definitely trying to develop a better logo (and my budget is a bit limited =\)

First of all I already told you that I love that banner; it's so chic!! Yes, heat does cause foot swelling; something we know well about in the South :-). I LOVE my target pocket tees; I can't tell you how many times I've worn them with everything (I'm wearing one now)!

I've worn an outfit like this one so many times; it's such a chic and fabulous look darling. You do a great job of getting dressed in 17 minutes :-).

I'm digging this simple cute look!!

Water can definitely be the culprit of swollen feet and hands. Drink lots of water and add a lemon wedge. That can take the swelling down and help you release the water.

Without offending you and I m not criticizing.  But, I learned yesterday from "The View", a TV show, that when we do fashion if the pants (or anything in the bot) are tight the top shoudl be long an loose and vice versa pour etre chic.  Tu me comprends?  Tu as perdu un petit poids.  C est bien pour les jambes

JenniJP said...

not offense. I have heard that too but its really only for older women. Its about balancing proportions but its only mostly for older women.. The View is VERY centered around those who are 35 and up in age.

in my eyes your pants are sexy on you! And that tee look so soft like it could be used as a blanket. I may go get my daughter a few she's 17.

she will love the tees.. they really are comfy. The grey ones are the softest because they are heathered but all the colors are pretty awesome and for 8 bucks, why not. I buy them in all sizes... so when I want a more fitted look I get a Medium and when I want a super slouchy look, I get an XL :)

I got them for her and she was soooooooooooo happy. Ive been crowned dad of the year!
