Did you think I was fibbing when I said I was attending a ton of events these next two weeks? Well I just called your bluff. Last night I attended the Harper's Bazaar book signing with Glenda Bailey. It was pouring cats, dogs, elephants and cheetahs out but with the help of my trusty Totes umbrella walked the mile to Georgetown to the Coach store. Glenda is one of my idols solely because of all she has done for this illustrious magazine but then to meet her and find out how funny and sweet she is, was the icing on the cake. I am even more in awe of her. She recently created an A.MA.ZING book chronicling the best of the best from Harper's Bazaar and it is a hardcover book filled with beautiful pics of style, icons and fashion at its greatest. I didnt get a chance to score the book as it was a tad pricier than I can afford at the moment but was honored that she signed a magazine for me. I also had the opportunity to meet some new bloggers to the area and also spend time chatting with old friends. I cannot wait to bring Maria of DC2NYconfessions to more events! Cameron of Style Corridor instantly caught my eye because he is sooo incredibly stylish that the camera instantly gravitates to him! The highlight of my evening (besides the ever flowing, so yummy bubbly drinks) was meeting Janice of Capital Fashionista/ Editor in Chief of Facon Magazine and talking business. She is a doll and cannot wait to brainstorm some great things with her soon. I also finally got the chance to share some laughs with Allix of The District1107 and snap shots of her great necklace.
This post is incredibly photo intensive, more so because I cant seem to choose and also I take TOO many pics.... ah well, you will live right? NO captions this time, just all images.
*p.s. I WAS wearing a white long sleeve shirt with this outfit instead of the black BUT yes ummm Mother Nature's teard ruined that shirt and I had to change to a black one that was in a drawer in my office. (sigh)*

I actually really like the black shirt with the outfit, makes it look more winter. So it all worked out for the best!
RE: what I "thought" you sounded like? um, so totally in my head - you had a slightly sultry voice and with a sarcastic type of humor. It's weird how we make up entire personalities based on pics and a few words...but I have! lmao!
